Thank You and Springtime Updates

Dear Parents and Caregivers, I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the parents involved in our PTCs. It has been a pleasure connecting with you, and your support is vital to our children's Chinese learning. In March, we continued our exploration of the Unit of Inquiry "Sharing the Planet" by focusing on environmental protection. Through the storybook "幼儿环保翻翻书“ (Environmental Protection Flip Book), the children learned about practical measures we can take in our daily lives to help preserve our environment.  During small group sessions, they engaged in an online game that taught them how to sort recyclable materials.  The following week, we deepened their understanding of recycling by reading "资源回收真好玩“ (Recycling Fun) and discussing the recycling systems in Hong Kong, including the colors of various recycling bins.  Later on, in small groups, the children practiced sorting recyclable materials into the correct bins based on color. Exploring nature through our curiosities

 Dear Turtle Class Families, We have been busy inquiring into nature over the past couple of weeks through many fun and engaging learning experiences! From exploring bugs, different types of animals, habitats and plants! The Turtle Class has also successfully created a Bug Hotel for creepy crawly visitors and we plan to place it in Bradbury School's 'Jungle School' area after the Easter Break, when we also plan to visit this exciting learning space on a more regular basis!  While creating the bug hotel, the class discussed how they would like to make it more inviting for bees and butterflies to visit and noticed that there was a lack of flowers available for these insects. After some careful research on which flowers and plants bees and butterflies prefer, the class set out to plant these important flowers, with the help of the story 'Jasper's Beanstalk', written by Nick Butterworth.  The class had lots of fun planting their own seeds and we are patiently waiti...
