Moving on to Primary!
In our recent sessions, we explored the captivating world of Chinese painting by introducing essential tools and basic techniques of calligraphy. During circle time, we engaged the children with tutorial videos that showcased the elegant art of painting animals and bamboo. This visual exploration not only captivated their attention but also served as inspiration for their own artistic expressions.
After the video presentations, the children had the opportunity to unleash their creativity through painting. We were truly impressed by their imaginative interpretations and the unique styles they brought to their artwork.
In addition to our artistic endeavors, we aimed to prepare the children for the transition to primary school. To facilitate this, we read a delightful story titled "My School" (我的学校), providing insights into what they can expect in a primary school setting. We also looked at pictures of different ESF school campuses and discussed which schools the children will be attending. To further enhance their understanding, we played a spinning wheel game that introduced various areas within primary schools.
Thank you for your support throughout this school year in enriching the children's Chinese learning. Wishing you a lovely summer holiday!
